This following message will show up with a minute or two after you start Outlook. Error Message: Your IMAP server closed the connection. This can occur if you leave the connection idle for too long.
It has a timeout set to check for idle IMAP connections. This is based on the time you set in Outlook as the time between send and receive commands for new e-mail. Therefore the timeouts need to be set longer than what you set your send and receive for in Outlook.

To correct this condition you need to go to the Mdaemon server then select set up, default domain and servers. Then click on timeouts. You’ll want to check 2 settings. The first is the IMAP sessions timeout after. This is the number of minutes and IMAP session must be in active before it’s considered idle. Normally this would be set for somewhere between 30 or 60 minutes. The second area is a checkbox called IMAP NOOP and IDLE commands trigger one minute inactivity timeout. Make sure the checkbox is unchecked. This should stop these error messages from showing up.
